Support the day-to-day Loan Documentation and Funding Control (LD&FC) closing, funding and servicing activities of performing and non-performing C & I, Commercial Real Estate and Homebuilder Construction loans. This position will be responsible for the due-diligence, document review, coordination, and execution of loan closing transactions to include new loans, modifications, renewals and loan workouts. Remain up to date on all policies, procedures and training. Identify and address and/or elevate issues and exceptions with Manager. Ensure servicing and funding functions are in compliance with loan documentation and in accordance with Bank’s policies and procedures. Mentor other staff members within the Funding Desk. Assist with training and procedure updates. Provide input for process improvements and serve as subject matter experts for the department.
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Legal Studies or equivalent professional experience in Commercial Real Estate, Construction, or Commercial loan closing/servicing/funding.
3 to 5 years of closing/servicing/funding large, complex Commercial Real Estate loan experience.
AFS Level III system knowledge
Construction Management experience– funding/closing/servicing
Participation/Syndication experience – funding/closing/servicing
Problem loan portfolio experience – funding/closing/servicing
