Function: Provide trading and operational support for brokerage clients including all website activity and all of BCIS' sales team and its affiliates. Coordinates and facilitates projects as requested by management.



  • Enter and exit security positions as efficiently as possible as determined by both price and time to Order fulfillment.
  • Provide securities quotes and industry information.
  • Provide timely responses to account questions and issues, resolution of problems and guidance on procedural processes.
  • Coordinate documentation for compliance and broker/dealer operations.
  • Assist clients with our website and web trading.
  • Reconcile brokerage firm accounts.
  • Back up Fixed income Trader.
  • Maintain trade reporting activities for the firm.
  • Provide investment research.
  • Deliver a high level of customer service
  • Other duties as assigned.



Must meet credit history and criminal background requirements associated with Financial Industry Regulatory Authority registration process, to include FBI fingerprint criminal history, review of credit report, civil litigation, liens, and other public records.


Required Qualifications:


Discount Brokerage Representative I:


College degree or equivalent work experience. NASD Series 7 and 63 securities licenses. Six months experience in sales, customer service, or an investment-related position. High level of attention to detail and a strong sense of personal responsibility. Superior written and verbal communication skills. Must work well under pressure and have a calm disposition. 


Discount Brokerage Representative II:


Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.  Five years brokerage operations experience.  Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with superior level of interpersonal, customer service and organizational skills.  Must have the ability to think and act independently, identify problems, find resolutions and manage through to implementation.   Must have proactive service attitude. Knowledge of operation and broker/dealer functions, such as, cashiering, account transfers, qualified accounts, etc.


Discount Brokerage Representative III:


Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business/Finance or equivalent work experience.  Minimum two years investment background along with NASD Series 7 and 63 securities licenses. Must have strong decision making, judgement and problem solving skills.  Excellent communication skills a must!  Must take initiative and be motivated.  Must work well under pressure and have a calm disposition.  Previous supervisory experience strongly desired.  Will be required to attain Series 24 and 53 securities licenses within six months.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • College degree in business related field.
  • Telephone sales and/or high volume customer service experience.
  • Experience in broker/dealer back (mid) office environment.
