Responsibilities

Provide leadership in the lending products sales production in an assigned regional market with a focus on maximizing P&L growth for the segment.  Work in conjunction with the Sales Productivity Executive (SPE) to communicate the direction of the retail bank to the region.  Identify areas for maximizing performance in all consumer loan products.  Provide support for all regional branch employees through training and coaching in aspects of successful consumer growth, cross selling and retention strategies for loan products.   Analyze financial and market data to identify opportunities and assist each District Retail Executive (DRE) in the assigned region in developing plans to address areas for improvement within the region.  Work with Marketing to provide support, training and implementation on all product promotions and campaigns for the region.

Qualifications

Position Responsibilities: 
1. Provide leadership in the loan products sales production in an assigned regional market with a focus on maximizing P&L growth for the segment.
2. Identify areas for maximizing performance in all consumer loan products.
3. Provide support for all regional branch employees through training and coaching in aspects of successful consumer growth, cross selling and retention strategies for loan products.
4. Responsible for the coordination of region wide training activities with the training department for all district and branch employees relating to product offerings, sales procedures, exceptional customer service standards, segmentation and business and consumer profiling skills.
5. Analyze financial and market data to identify opportunities and assist each District Retail Executive (DRE) in the assigned region in developing plans to address areas for improvement within the region.
6. Maintaining and updating strategic information concerning the actions and offerings of the competition within the region. Assist in the development of action plans to defend against and counter their efforts.
7. Assist in the communication of current and upcoming promotions or campaigns, including goals, results tracking, required training and expected activities.
8. Works with Retail Banking Business Development and Marketing to provide support, training, implementation, results tracking and communication of best practices on all loan product promotions and campaigns for the region.
9. Works with the marketing department to identify any target or prospective segments of customers for targeted campaigns.
10. Assist in the development and implementation of localized campaigns and actions on a district or branch level to seize a sales opportunity or address an area of improvement.
11. Responsible for the regional level tracking of portfolio performance of consumer loan products, including results vs. annual profitably goals and campaign goals/activities and performance.
12. Assist in conducting the Retail Banking Sales meeting with the District Retail Executives (DREs) in the region.
13. Assist in coaching and motivating regional employees toward their career path.








Qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree in finance or related field or equivalent work experience.
2. Experience with motivating a sales group and meeting goals at a regional level.
3. Ability to solve complex issues.
4. Must have assertive communication skills.
5. Excellent understanding of all loan products offered.
6. Good knowledge of banking regulations, legal and documentation requirements.
7. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office desktop applications.
8. Ability to travel as the job requires, occasionally overnight.
9. At least two years of retail banking management experience.
10. Must exhibit a friendly and helpful attitude along with the ability to interact positively with direct reports, district level executives and branch staff.
11. Demonstrate ability to coach the process of identifying needs and implementing an effective solution in a rapid growth environment.
