    Deliver project management services, product and strategy consultations and  Level II support to Treasury Management Sales Officers throughout the implementation process. Perform as a Subject Matter Expert in all product and technical aspects of Treasury Management products. Deliver client facing functions during new product development. Accountable for client onboarding and implementation of the bank's most technical and complex Corporate Products and Services. The scope of this position is highly technical in nature and is for specific products only that require testing, file formats, coordination with multiple development teams, etc.
     

    Responsibilities

    1. Develop unique implementation project plans for all large or complex client setups and onboarding to BBVA Compass Treasury Management.

    • Set and monitor expectations for process with internal staff and client.
    • Validate the implementation project plans are executed successfully and efficiently.
    • Validate customer setup information and process.
    • Validate vendor setup information and process, when applicable.
    • Coordinate with all operational areas to validate their setup information and process.
    • Validate that all customer and vendor transmissions are setup and tested.
    • Serve as project manager during new customer implementation, coordinate between vendor and client, conduct weekly implementation status meetings, etc. to achieve seamless integration into BBVA Compass.
    • Monitor communications to ensure expectations are set and met.
    • Preside over client implementation project meetings

    2. Eliminate barriers to successful implementation by serving in a consultative role to address customer specific issues regarding file formats, interfaces, finding an applicable solution to resolve challenges presented during implementation.

    3. Develop and maintain an onboarding prioritization pipeline for monthly review by management and obtain management approval of onboarding prioritization pipeline.

    4. Augment/Bolster the Treasury Management Sales Team, Product Manager and Product Development Manager during Alpha/Beta/Pilot and rollout.

    • Serve as Project Manager for rollouts
    • Identify and present beta clients based on product specific criteria

    5Serve as an escalation resource for the Implementation Coordinators.

    6. Interact frequently and effectively with local and regional BBVA Compass Management  Team and client management team. Represent Treasury Management in local community.

    7. Deliver product training to external audiences including customers, resource groups and Relationship Managers.

    8. Create, provide ongoing development of and present “train the trainer” sessions to regional TMO teams. 

    9. Identify and communicate required and requested modifications to product functionality and gaps identified within the existing product. 

    10. Facilitate directly with Product Manager to prioritize requirements and enhancements.

    11. Lead special projects as assigned by management. 

    12. Collaborate on the development of marketing materials and sales presentations in conjunction with the Product Manager.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting or closely related field. MBA preferred.
    • Minimum of seven years progressive sales and/or product experience dealing with Treasury Management and banking solutions. Ten+ years TM/banking experience strongly preferred.  
    • Demonstrated experience in technical product/solution sales and/or product management/support strongly preferred.
    • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding assigned goals.
    • Professional level of written and oral communication skills, as well as excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
    • Strong ability to independently prioritize and organize responsibilities, both short and long term.
    • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Certified Cash Manager (CCM) designation strongly preferred. Certification required within two years in the position.
    • Project Management, PMP or CAPM, designation strongly preferred. Certification required within two years in the position.
    • Travel required.
